ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICES
Messiah Lutheran Church begins the season of Lent on February 22nd with Ash Wednesday worship with communion.
We have an 11:00 a.m. and a 7:00 p.m. service. Imposition of ashes are offered at both services.MID-WEEK BIBLE STUDY
Thursday Bible Study morning classes at 10:30 a.m. and evening classes at 7:00 p.m. Our new theme for January is: "Lutheranism in America."
Fellowship
There are numerous opportunities for fellowship offered in our community, and we are always open to more! If you are interested in beginning a small group ministry of your own, please contact Pastor Tim for more information.
Messiah Lutheran Church Woman (MLCW)
Circle Meeting and Bible Study, Second Saturday of every month beginning at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall.
MLCW is a chapter of the Women of the ELCA, a service and fellowship organization that has connections in almost every ELCA church in the country. Every woman member of Messiah Lutheran Church is automatically a member of MLCW. This group is active in many ministries above and beyond their normal monthly meetings. Messiah Men in Mission (MMM)
Bible Study, Second Saturday of every month from 9:00-10:00am in the Meeting Room.
This group of men from our congregation come together to share in fellowship, Bible study and discussion to build one another up in our most holy faith. MMM also participates in many other service and fellowship activities within the congregation. Contact the church office for more information and events.
Ladies Evening Group (LEG)
Bible Study and Fellowship, Third Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm in the Meeting Room.
This fellowship group is offered for those who wish to meet during a weeknight evening for fellowship, study, and service. Topics of discussion are arranged beforehand and are left to the groupīs discretion. Contact the church office for more information.
Sew and Share
First and Third Tuesdays beginning at 9:30am in the Meeting Room.
This group of women come together to sew beautiful quilts that are given to The Storehouse, a local homeless aid agency in Albuquerque.
JC/DC (Jesus Christ Discipleship Crew)
First and Third Sundays of every month from 3:00-5:00pm at St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church.
All youth from 9th through 12th grades are welcome to participate in this City-Wide Sr. High Lutheran Youth Group. Activities are scheduled year round for this energetic group, including: Bible Studies, movie nites, service events, national and local youth gatherings, concerts, and more! Second Monday of every month from 5:30-7:00pm at O'Neill's Pub located on Juan Tabo NE, just north of Candelaria.
